The Door

THE LAND AND THE MESSIAH

The door to the mystery of this calling will not be opened to you unless you are ready and prepared to walk through it.  If you find the door is not open, if you read and do not understand these things, knock and it will be opened unto you.  Continue to seek.

The land was given to all those who came out of Egypt “as a legacy” Exod 6:8.  This was in accordance with the covenant that God made with Avraham in response to Avraham’s question, “How do I know that I shall inherit the land?”  For in His covenant with Avraham God said, “Know of a surety that your seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;  And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.  And you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried in a good old age.  But in the fourth generation they shall come here again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.”  Gen 15:13-16

Now the promise of great substance that his seed would receive in leaving Egypt was a promise to assure Avraham that when his seed returned to the land that they would receive their portions of the land as an inheritance, for a legacy, even as they departed from Egypt.  For how else could they come to the land?  Should they come to the land which was not theirs to come to?  Rather, at that time it would be fully taken from the Amorites and given to them, even as they entered to claim what was given to them through their redemption, as was promised to Avraham for a testimony to the promise of blessing that God gave to him.  For the testimony in the land was set in this, in the practices of the Amorites was manifested in order that the reason for the wrath of God might be fully seen, and that in Avraham's and his seed's inheriting the land might be seen the manifest grace of God toward the world.

Therefore, in the separation of the seed of Avraham from Egypt there would be a blessing of the seed of Avraham with the wealth of Egypt as a token to Avraham that his seed would indeed inherit their portions of the land of Israel upon leaving Egypt.  And this was to assure Avraham that the day would come when his seed would be fully worthy to give a perfect testimony to the grace of the Most High God through their possession of the Land of Israel, for the sake of bringing the blessing of life from the dead, upon the basis of that testimony, to all the world.

Therefore Moshe also assured Israel, saying, “the Lord has taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as you are this day.”  Deut 4:20

And Moshe sung:  “You shall bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of Your inheritance, in the place, O Lord, which You have made for Yourself to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O Lord, which Your hands have established.  Ex 15:17

For this is the foundation for the Great Assignment given by the meek and lowly King Messiah of Israel to his disciples, in accordance with that word of Moses:

“When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel. For the Lord’s portion is his people; Yaacov is the lot of his inheritance.”  Deut 32:8-9

“So Yehoshua took the whole land, according to all that the Lord said unto Moses; and Yehoshua gave it for an inheritance unto Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. And the land rested from war.”  Josh 11:23

When anyone enters through this door of understanding they see that when the twelve tribes of Israel dwell in the land of their testimony to God's grace and salvation, each in their place of inheritance, then and only then will the nations come to have rest in accordance with their allotted boundaries, in order that they may all sit at the feet of one Teacher.
